I grew up in the area and casa was always the place to get birthday shots. I was in town for my best friend's birthday so naturally we came here for cocktails and girls time. It literally hasn't changed in over a decade, decor and all. Good service. Good margs. Good food. Sticky floor. The typical. Great spot to see people when you're in town, but definitely more Tex mex.
Ate and left no crumbs Shredded beef burrito was amazing 5 stars Service was good but we had to ask to get our waters refilled by someone who wasn't our server
Food was enjoyable, especially in a large group setting. It's both fulfilling and great for socializing. The staff did the best they can and I'm content with their customer service. Will come again with a different group.
Tiffany was amazing this evening. Totally made our experience a five star. In the past the service has been reasonable, tonight it was phenomenal. Tiffany was on fire making sure our drinks were full, we had plenty of chips and salsa, and checked in on us a few times after our food arrived. I had the combo Fajitas with corn tortillas, and they were very good this visit. Staff all around was great, atmosphere was solid as well. Will definitely be back.
My first time here and I was quite surprised of how busy it was inside. The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. Our server was very fast and attentive. I ordered a refreshing margarita but it did not have a lot of salt on the rim, and I love salt. Nonetheless it was yummy. My chile relleno was tasty, but I wished it was a tad bit hotter. Overall it's a nice place to enjoy a meal and a drink with family and friends.
I think Casa Orozco is most worth it when you come for their lunch specials or weekly specials! Their happy hour Monday to Friday from 11:00am - 6:00pm has great deals as well and includes discounted appetizers. I had no issue in customer service or food quality as others have reviewed, but perhaps my standard was lower since the prices were cheap and it wasn't too crowded. Taco Tuesday deal (4 tacos for $9.95): The waiter let me know I could only choose two meats; they used to allow four meats but it would take the kitchen too long LOL which makes sense. I chose carnitas and carne asada, and my tacos were packed!!! My plate came with its own salsa (non-spicy), and you get a different non-spicy salsa with chips when you sit down. I would come back just for Taco Tuesday; where else in the area are you going to get a $2.50 taco? Husband and I also loved their playlist - made it a fun, festive environment and I like their decor! I believe they have live music on certain days, so I'll look out for those :)
